Bracelet replacement

New band,
same profile.

Bands get lost, scratched, and outgrown. Moving to a new one takes a moment and retires the old code, so a bracelet you no longer have stops leading anywhere.

Replace a bracelet

Enter the code you're retiring, the code on the new band, and the private edit link for the profile they belong to.

Checked once to confirm both bands are yours to move, then discarded.

When to replace one

Lost or stolen

Retiring the old code stops it resolving to your profile. Do this first, before you worry about the new band arriving.

Damaged or unreadable

A worn engraving a responder can't read is a bracelet that isn't working. Replace it rather than hoping.

Outgrown or resized

Children's bands get replaced often. The profile stays put — only the code on the wrist changes.

While you wait for the new one

Your profile never went anywhere — only the band did. Print a wallet card or put the public link on your phone's lock screen so there's still something to find in the meantime.
